    The Peruvian Folklore has infinite faces,as many as the towns that created us,giving us their effort,heroism and joy.
    The tribes that still keep the strange and primitive music with an unyielding light, are among the sandy coasts,the afro Peruvian vacinities,the Andean mountain range,the quechua people (the first blood of our America),and the Amazonian rain forest,all of them with their triumphant and melancholic dances.
    Our is the force from the west as well,migrated from Spain centuries ago and transformed through reasoning and struggle what has become nowadays,no such a destroying fire but the one that purifies and enlightens.
    Among all these towns our town was originated.
    Our chants and dances belong therefore to every town,that were under submission and now they are on their path to dignity.

    El Folklore del Peru tiene infinitos rostros,tanto como los pueblos que nos construyeron,que nos dieron su esfuerzo,su heroismo y su alegria.
    Entre los arenales de la costa: el pueblo negro.En la sierra de los andes: el pueblo quechua-primera sangre de nuestra America- con sus danzas melancolicas y triunfantes. Y en la selva amazonica: las tribus que aun conservan su musica extraña y primitiva,su luz indobleglabe.
    Nuestra tambien es la fuerza de Occidente,llegada desde España hace varios siglos,y convertida,por medio de la lucha y la razon,en lo que es ahora: no fuego que destruye sino que purifica e ilumina.
    De todos estos pueblos esta hecho nuestro pueblo.
    Nuestros cantos y danzas son,por ello, las danzas y los cantos de todos los pueblos.
    De todos los pueblos que fueron sometidos y que ahora encuentran el  camino de su dignidad.
