KAUSACHUNPERU "PERUVIAN DANCE SCHOOL IN UTAH"
La trayectoria de "kausachun Peru", es de conocimiento de muchos en la comunidad de Salt Lake City y de gran parte del Valle salado; pues ha venido trabajando arduamente con presupuesto propio desde el 2001, los cuales han permitido la adquisicion de trajes originales, muchos de ellos confeccionados a mano.
Como Institucion folklorica, sin fines de lucro, ha venido trabajando arduamente, en la ensenanza gratuita de sus danzas,involucrando a familias, en especial a jovenes de diferentes edades y diferentes nacionalidades, mostrandoles lo especial que es participar en una actividad sana, que les provee ricas experiencias culturales; es en esta noble tarea de preservar sus raices que han surgido nuevas inquietudes, como las de preparar y presentar eventos culturales.
Kausachun Peru , ademas cuenta con el apoyo incondicional de profesionales del arte peruano y de instituciones del gobierno peruano, los cuales brindan su asesoramiento y han encaminado a su directiva a la investigacion de danzas en extincion, y pretende ir al rescate de danzas que datan aun desde antes de la epoca de los Incas.

The Peruvian Dance School, Kausachun Peru, whose Quechuan name means “Long Live Peru!” was registered with the Utah Dept. of Commerce on May 22, 2002. Kausachunperu "The Peruvian Dance School " was founded by Ruben C,Ventura and Juanita Paucar with the objetive of preserving our cultural legacy since then this organization has grown into a folk art institution made up of Peruvians, many of whom have ample experience and skill in the Peruvian folk arts, and who are the teachers and choreographers of this institution. Current members include nationals of Mexico,Bolivia,Venezuela,Argentina,Peru and the Unites States. The prime objectives of Kausachun Peru are:
To redeem and to make known the art of Peru by way of the dances of Peru’s three regions (coast, mountain, and jungle), and the unmistakable beauty of our costumes, all of which are made in Peru, and hand embroidered.
To motivate our children and youth to take interest in their roots, and their rich heritage, to occupy them with positive activities, and avoid the loss of our traditions in the future generation.
To present a positive image of Hispanics and contribute our part to that culture.
We are friends, we help each other and encourage each other when we are together to reach a stage where we can freely express ourselves, bringing this stage with us wherever we are invited or engaged to perform.
